Last week the Primary students went to Aralar by bus, where were welcomed by Aritz Ganboa.
This shepherd told us some local legends and curiosities, and also showed us a cairn and some huts. She also invited us to taste the cheese they make.
Before visiting his hut, we took advantage of the snowed slopes and played a lot with the snow.
Would you like to know some curiosities he told us?
1.CURIOSITY: The sheep variety is “latxa”, which means “rough”. It’s their wool feature. That’s why they are domestic animals but can live on their own in the hill, in a wild way.
2. CURIOSITY: Those huts do not have owners.
We enjoyed the trip and we would like to be grateful to Aritz.
Thank you, Aritz, it was a pleasure!
